There is one Soup event per month. Alternating between a Social – which raises funds to run the Sheffield Soup grant scheme, and Pitch night, which gives away grants ranging so far from £460 – £800 to worthy winners as voted for by the audience. You can book onto our next event here if you fancy?
The Grants are made up of peoples entry donation on a live pitch night. Each ‘judge’ donates a minimum of £5. 4 people each pitch an idea that has been selected by Sheffield Residents – often whittled down from 10-20 applications. The audience privately cast their vote, and the winning pitch receives 100% of the door receipts!
So far Sheffield People have donated a total of £4,105 to 7 projects.
