Could you make good use of a no strings cash grant to bring to life your idea or to grow your business, products or services? Then Sheffield SOUP grants could be just what you need!
It could be you joining the previous 10 projects Sheffield People have funded.
The next live pitch night is on Wednesday 26th July with our new venue partner, St Mary’s on Bramall Lane. You must apply to pitch, and will be notified if you have been chosen to live pitch by email week ending 21st July. You will need to be available for training – which will take place for one hour between 10.00 and 13.00 on either Saturday the 22nd or Sunday 23rd July.
The grant is the sum of door donations Sheffield folk put in the pot, each donating a minimum of £5. Each donor recieves one voting chip, and vote for their favourite idea after hearing all the pitches and having had opportunity to question the pitchers.. The winner takes all the donations! But, you have to be in it to win it.
To qualify to apply, you must reside in Sheffield, and your project, idea or business must take place in Sheffield. We do not put restrictions on age or ideas, or the type of idea. Applications are welcome from Community Groups, Charities, Individuals, Freelancers, Self Employed, Employed, Unemployed, big or small business. Shortlist Judges (Sheffield residents) vote for their favourite 4 applications – and the top 4 go through to live pitch night to compete to win the vote. It’s that simple.
The form is real quick and easy – so don’t be shy – give it a go!
